IPR was founded in Beirut in 1966, making it one of the first Middle Eastern representative agencies. After 40 years of successful work on behalf of publishers, we can claim a degree of expertise in the area second to none. Despite the vicissitudes of war, current problems and countries going off the map due to political issues, we have continued to gain increases in our publishers' Middle Eastern turnovers.

Apart from being the longest established agency in the market, we like to think we are also the best organised and the most efficient in our work. We have divided our publishers' books into areas of product type. Thus, we have separate departments for sales and promotion of all product lines.

Our sales team travels through the area from September to June and all countries are coverered thoroughly at least once per year, most get two or three visits per year, with the most profitable ones receiving constant attention. Our sales staff work from four locations: Cyprus (our Head Office), Lebanon, U.A.E and France.
